Patriot One Technologies designs and manages touch-less threat detection systems capable of identifying threats such as weapons and crowd disturbances. Their threat detection solutions eliminate the need for walk-through metal detectors and physical searches while utilizing AI to identify, analyze and alert safety and security risks.
Patriot One’s security solution was initially developed in partnership with McMaster University, a highly respected centre for radar technology research. The firm had a revolutionary concept, but required our expertise to develop a hardware strategy, design for FCC and regulatory requirements to establish product viability and needed to protect their intellectual property to retain shareholder value.
We evaluated the variety of custom radar technology vendors available and collaborated with the selected vendors to innovate real-world solutions for each software challenge that arose. Through our hands-on involvement, we enabled Patriot One to patent their custom IP solution and developed a multi-year plan to support a very complex hardware solution.
Thanks to our involvement, Patriot One’s CEO acknowledged that they generated over $100 million USD in shareholder value. We also successfully navigated the solution through the challenging process of FCC certification by providing system-level design guidance, collating the appropriate technical information and working with patent lawyers to protect their intellectual property.
