The Challenge: Testing a Solution Built for Extreme Conditions

One of our recent projects involved a large, 1,000-pound water solution designed for extreme weather environments. The product’s intended destination? Any country in the world. Given that all locations are impacted by environmental conditions, we opted to test as though we were in Dubai – a city known for its scorching temperatures and high humidity. We needed to validate how this solution would perform under Dubai’s challenging weather conditions over the course of a week.

But flying the entire 100 pound system to Dubai just for testing wasn’t feasible. The logistics, cost, and potential delays made it impractical. That’s when we got creative.

The Solution: Turning a Garage into a Weather Simulation Chamber

Instead of taking the solution to Dubai, we decided to bring Dubai to the solution by replicating its weather conditions right here. Our team transformed a standard garage into a high-tech hardware and software testing chamber capable of mimicking the exact atmospheric conditions of just about any city in the world.

Using real-world weather data from Dubai, we programmed our chamber to simulate the city’s temperature fluctuations, humidity levels, and other environmental factors for a full week. This allowed us to observe how the water solution responded to the harsh conditions it was designed to endure.

Using the garage as a massive environment chamber, we could predict how the device would work for a period of time in nearly any city in the world.

The Process: Combining Data and Ingenuity in Hardware and Software Testing

Setting up the test required more than just physical adjustments to the garage. We downloaded precise meteorological data to replicate the conditions as accurately as possible. The chamber was equipped with sensors and monitoring systems to track the performance of the solution in real time.

This approach allowed us to validate the product’s functionality and durability without the need for international shipping or onsite testing. The results confirmed that the water solution performed as expected, reinforcing our commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality products.
